The aim of UK Personals is to create a high quality, confidential and secure online personals site for everyone in the UK. From personal experience, I've discovered that it seems that most of these type of sites are full of confusing or tacky advertising banners, pass on your email address to unscrupulous third-parties, or are simply a 'front' for some dubvious 'adult site'.
Thus, I hatched the idea of creating a simple to use, advert free and guaranteed 'spam' free web site from which people around the UK can be introduced to each other for friendship, romance or possibly more.
I'm intending the site to be viewable on all web browsers, including access from the latest mobile devices such as phones and PDA's. Basically, I want it to look and work like you would expect a quality site to be like.
Above all, it will be completely FREE - mainly because this is done to fill a perceived gap in the market and not because I have to/want to make stacks of money from it - although donations are always welcome. :-)
